Residential Conveyancer

We are working with a long-standing and highly reputable firm who are looking for an experienced residential conveyancer to bring into their respected and busy city centre Northeast team. This role is based at the firms Newcastle offices, and will suit someone who wants a team environment, who has at least 5 years residential conveyancing case handling experience.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files with hands on paralegal support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions with minimal supervision.
- Handle complex transactions: leasehold, re-mortgage, Transfer of Equity, Help to Buy, redemption, new builds, shared ownership, company purchases, and auctions.
- Sign off on other fee earners' files for exchange and review title reports.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior fee earners when required.
- Drive business development initiatives and lead process improvements within the department.
About You
- At least 5 years' experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload (the firm will consider applications from qualified individuals and experienced non-qualified fee earners)
- Ability to deliver an outstanding client service
- In-depth knowledge of complex transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach
