This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional with experience in new build transactions to join a supportive and established property team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, work closely with developer and buyer clients, and develop your career within a respected legal practice.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of new build conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
- Acting for buyers on new build purchases
- Advising clients throughout the new build transaction process
- Reviewing and reporting on developer contracts and title documentation
- Dealing with leases, transfers, management company documentation and associated paperwork
- Handling Help to Buy, shared ownership and other funding arrangements where applicable
- Liaising with developers, sales teams, lenders, mortgage brokers and other third parties
- Identifying and resolving issues with titles, searches and property documentation
- Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and within required timescales
- Providing regular updates and excellent client care throughout the process

Key Responsibilities
- Managing new build purchases from initial instruction through to completion
- Reviewing and advising on developer contracts
- Checking titles, searches, plans and property information
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Reviewing leases, transfers and management documentation
- Liaising with developers, lenders, brokers, agents and clients
- Preparing reports on title and providing clear advice to clients
- Managing exchange and completion deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and compliant case records
- Delivering consistently high levels of client service
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in New Build Conveyancing and be confident managing matters with a good level of autonomy. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant conveyancing experience
- Previous experience handling new build transactions
- Strong knowledge of residential property and conveyancing procedures
- Experience managing a caseload from instruction through to completion
- Good understanding of developer contracts and new build documentation
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong client care and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines
- A proactive and professional approach
- Good commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Ambition to develop and progress within property law
