About the Role
This permanent position involves managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. You will handle your own files with a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from the firm’s comprehensive resources and experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied and often complex caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Handling a broad range of transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold matters, and more complex or high-value transactions where required.
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Taking responsibility for more complex title issues, enquiries and transactional matters, providing solutions and guidance where necessary.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers, estate agents, lenders and other professional contacts.
- Ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and proactively, while maintaining an excellent standard of client care.
- Supervising, supporting and mentoring junior solicitors, conveyancers and support staff within the team
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE in residential conveyancing
- Proven experience managing a full caseload independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Proactive approach with strong organisational abilities
- Enthusiastic team player with a professional attitude
