This is an excellent opportunity for a residential property lawyer looking to join a supportive and established team, handling a varied caseload and working with a strong client base. The Role
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout transactions
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents and other conveyancing documentation
- Reviewing titles, searches and property information
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties
- Progressing transactions efficiently and keeping clients updated
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team

Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
- Reviewing property titles, searches and associated documentation
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- Providing regular updates and advice to clients
- Ensuring files are accurately maintained and compliant
- Managing workloads effectively and meeting relevant deadlines
- Delivering consistently high levels of client service
About You
The ideal candidate will have solid residential conveyancing experience and be confident managing a caseload with an appropriate level of autonomy. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with previous Residential Conveyancing experience
- Strong knowledge of residential property transactions
- Experience managing a caseload from instruction through to completion
- Experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold matters
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong client care and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
- A proactive and professional approach
- Good commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Ambition to develop and progress within residential property
