Sacco Mann Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established, highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Legal Executive to join their team in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to join a supportive and established team, handling a varied caseload and taking responsibility for matters from instruction through to completion. The role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships while continuing to develop your career within a respected legal practice.
The Role
- Managing a varied conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling residential property sales and purchases
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions
- Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and other conveyancing matters
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout transactions
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents and other legal documentation
- Reviewing property titles, searches and associated information
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties
- Progressing transactions efficiently and keeping clients updated
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider property team

Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own conveyancing caseload
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Dealing with both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion
- Reviewing titles, searches and property documentation
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
- Providing regular updates and advice to clients
- Ensuring files are accurately maintained and compliant
- Managing workloads and meeting relevant deadlines
- Delivering consistently high levels of client service
About You
The ideal candidate will have solid conveyancing experience and be confident managing a caseload with an appropriate level of autonomy. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with previous conveyancing experience
- Strong knowledge of property transactions
- Experience managing a caseload from instruction through to completion
- Experience dealing with freehold and leasehold matters
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Strong client care and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
- A proactive and professional approach
- Good commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Ambition to develop and progress within conveyancing
