The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) to take ownership of a varied and high-quality residential property caseload. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy while benefiting from the support and guidance of experienced senior lawyers, alongside genuine opportunities for career progression and professional development.
The successful candidate will work with a broad client base including private individuals, investors, and lenders, handling a diverse range of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion
- Handling a wide variety of residential property transactions, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Matters involving the Building Safety Act
- Auction sales and purchases
- Bridging finance transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build purchases
- Advising private clients, investors, and lender clients on residential property matters
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently
About You
- A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer with approximately 2+ years' PQE or equivalent experience
- Experienced in managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Technically strong across all aspects of residential property transactions
- Able to manage competing deadlines and a busy workload effectively
- Client-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in their approach
- Commercially aware with a commitment to delivering high levels of client service
