The Role
You'll handle your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, advising a broad range of clients including first-time buyers, home movers, investors and developers.
Your work will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Right to Buy transactions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors throughout the transaction
- Delivering practical, commercially focused advice with an emphasis on excellent client care
- Assisting with business development and maintaining relationships with local referrers and professional contacts
About You
This opportunity would suit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience).
You'll ideally have:
- 3+ years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters
- The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential property
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative and proactive attitude
- An interest in developing long-term client and referrer relationships
