An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join a large regional law firm in Birmingham.
The team handles a broad range of residential property matters for a varied client base, including private individuals, investors and high-value clients. The role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for your own caseload while working alongside experienced property lawyers within a supportive and well-established team.

The Work will include:
- Managing your own caseload of residential property transactions.
- Acting for buyers and sellers on freehold and leasehold properties.
- Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
- Dealing with new-build and other more complex residential transactions.
- Reviewing titles, raising and responding to enquiries and reporting to clients.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers.
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
- Providing clear and practical advice to clients throughout the process.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Contributing to the continued development of the wider Residential Property team.
About You
We’re looking for a solicitor with:
- 5+ years’ PQE in Residential Property.
- Strong experience handling a broad range of residential transactions.
- The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical, drafting and organisational skills.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and competing deadlines.
- A practical and commercial approach to client advice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The confidence to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to support colleagues.
