About the Role
A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy and supportive Residential Property team based in Blackburn.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll manage a varied and interesting caseload from instruction through to completion, including:
- Sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership/equity matters
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
Alongside this, you will:
- Deliver clear, high-quality legal advice with a strong focus on client care
- Take ownership of your caseload, ensuring efficiency and profitability
- Draft and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail
- Advise clients on risks, strategies, and the best possible outcomes
- Support colleagues on more complex transactions when required
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and continue your professional development
- Play an active role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to team success
About You
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing
- Qualified as a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with Practising Rights
- Strong experience across a full range of property transactions
- Solid understanding of Land Registry processes and SDLT requirements
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload and meet targets
- Confident using case management systems and IT software
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
