About the Firm

Sacco Mann is working with a well-established Yorkshire law firm looking to recruit an experienced RTA & PI Case Handler into its growing Personal Injury team in Leeds. The Role

The successful candidate will manage a caseload of RTA and Personal Injury claims from instruction through to settlement. The role will involve progressing matters proactively while ensuring clients and third parties are kept regularly updated throughout the lifecycle of the claim.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own caseload of RTA and PI claims

  • Handling matters through the OIC and MOJ portals

  • Reviewing and responding to client and third-party correspondence

  • Negotiating settlement of claims

  • Drafting legal proceedings where settlement is not achievable pre-issue

  • Preparing witness statements and supporting court documentation

  • Ensuring compliance with CPR rules, court deadlines, and internal procedures

  • Assisting senior members of the Personal Injury team where required

Candidate Requirements

The firm is keen to hear from candidates with previous experience handling RTA and Personal Injury claims within a legal environment.

Suitable applicants will ideally have:

  • Experience handling OIC and Fast Track RTA claims

  • Knowledge of the MOJ process and Civil Procedure Rules

  • Strong communication and client care skills

  • The ability to manage deadlines and targets effectively

  • A professional and organised approach to case handling
