The Role
We are now supporting a unique opportunity for a skilled Senior Banking Associate, 10 years PQE, to join their dynamic team in Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile real estate finance and corporate banking transactions, with significant client interaction and relationship management responsibilities. The firm’s flexible approach allows for hybrid working, including working across various offices from Liverpool to London, providing an excellent work-life balance whilst being involved in a broad range of complex banking matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload involving banking and real estate finance transactions
- Cultivate relationships with key banking clients, acting as a trusted adviser
- Work collaboratively with Partners and other teams to deliver seamless legal solutions
- Support the development of client panels and generate new opportunities
- Advise on a range of banking-related legal and regulatory matters, utilising the firm’s growing regulatory expertise
What They're Looking For
- A qualified solicitor ideally minimum of 10+ years’ experience, within banking law
- Demonstrable expertise in real estate finance, corporate banking, or related areas within banking law
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships, exploiting panel memberships with major banks
- A proactive team player comfortable working across multiple offices, with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with international clients and transactions is desirable, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and a commercial mindset to contribute to business growth
