About the Role
As a Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of contentious matters from initial instruction through to resolution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a broad range of commercial litigation matters, advising clients on dispute resolution strategies and potential outcomes.
- Handling complex disputes and developing effective, commercially focused solutions for clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to develop new business.
- Providing clear, practical advice to clients on their legal position, risks and available options.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and contributing to the wider success of the litigation team.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the department, sharing your knowledge and experience where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced solicitor with approximately 10 years PQE in commercial litigation
- Extensive experience handling a range of commercial disputes independently.
- Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to advise clients on complex contentious matters.
- Familiarity with contentious probate
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach
- The commercial awareness to identify practical solutions and understand clients' wider business objectives.
- An interest in business development and contributing to the ongoing growth of the department.
