Our client is looking for a Senior Employment Solicitor who combines strong technical expertise with a commercial approach and a genuine interest in developing client relationships and winning new business.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Employment Solicitor, you will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, working closely with clients to provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.

The role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility, contribute to business development and help shape the future growth of the Employment team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters.

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

  • Providing strategic advice on employment disputes, workplace issues and risk management.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to grow the practice.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.

  • Contributing to the development and future success of the Employment Law department.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced Employment Solicitor with a strong understanding of employment law and the confidence to manage client relationships independently.

You will ideally have:

  • Significant post-qualification experience in employment law.

  • Experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

  • Excellent technical, drafting and client advisory skills.

  • A commercially minded approach to delivering legal advice.

  • An interest in business development, networking and practice growth.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
