About the role
This is a key growth hire supporting the private client team, working alongside a small team. Your responsibilities will include managing a broad spectrum of private client matters, such as:
- Wills, including trust wills
- Administration of Estates
- Powers of Attorney
- Trust creation and administration
- Inheritance tax planning
- Transfer of Equity
- Support with Court of Protection and Care Home Fees advice (optional)
You'll help reduce the workload of senior team members, allowing them to focus on strategic tasks and business development. There will be opportunities to take on supervisory responsibilities and progress into a directorship role, contingent on your experience and ambitions.
The ideal candidate
- Approximately 3+ years PQE or equivalent experience in private client matters
- Proficiency across wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of your cases
- Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, patient, and client-focused
- Supportive of junior team members, with leadership potential
- Motivated by career progression within a growing firm
- Owns a vehicle and happy with hybrid working arrangements
