The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Solicitor with 4 years post-qualification experience, to join a busy team with the opportunity to handle a diverse range of property matters, working within a team who value quality work and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Leading on complex and high-value real estate transactions, providing commercially focused advice to a diverse client base across a range of sectors.
  • Managing acquisitions, disposals, development projects, investment transactions, and landlord and tenant matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and delivering practical solutions aligned with their business objectives.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver seamless advice on multi-disciplinary transactions.
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including networking, preparing pitches and proposals, and identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers, fostering technical excellence and contributing to the overall growth of the team.
  • Taking responsibility for matter management, client service delivery, financial performance, and ensuring work is completed to the highest professional standards.
  • Keeping abreast of market developments and legislative changes, providing strategic insight to clients and colleagues where appropriate.

 

What They're Looking For

  • A qualified Solicitor with 4 years' PQE or above, with a solid background in real estate law
  • Strong technical expertise across acquisitions, disposals, development, investment work, and landlord and tenant matters.
  • A commercial, solutions-focused approach with the ability to advise clients in a pragmatic and business-minded way.
  • Excellent client relationship skills, with confidence in managing key stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player who enjoys working on high-quality, often multi-disciplinary transactions.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers would be advantageous, with a genuine interest in developing others.
