About the Role

This role gives access to high-quality work within an established yet growing client base.  You would be joining the firms busy Affordable Housing Property team. Your role will involve managing a diverse range of matters including commercial leases, asset management, land acquisitions and disposals, and development transactions for registered providers. You will work closely with partners and senior fee earners on complex projects, providing legal advice and supporting business development initiatives. The position offers structured career progression, ongoing training, and the chance to develop specialised expertise within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial property law, ideally with experience in affordable housing, residential, or commercial property. You should have a proven track record of handling commercial leases, acquisitions, and disposals, and possess strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing skills. Confidence in supervising junior colleagues and a proactive, commercially aware approach are vital. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team under tight deadlines are essential. Knowledge of the Capital Funding Guide and regulatory frameworks would be advantageous, as would experience supporting large transactions using data rooms.
