Sought is a motivated and commercially aware Trade Mark Attorney to join an expanding Trade Marks practice. This opportunity is suited to professionals who are keen to strengthen their technical expertise, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking IP business.
Working alongside senior colleagues and cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality trade mark services while supporting wider commercial growth initiatives across the firm.
The Opportunity
As a Trade Mark Attorney, you will manage a varied portfolio of work, provide practical and commercially focused advice to clients, and contribute to the continued success of the wider team. You will have the opportunity to develop your profile within the profession, strengthen client partnerships, and support the development of colleagues across the business.
Day to day
- Handle a broad range of trade mark matters for UK and international clients.
- Manage deadlines, portfolios, and workflows effectively and independently.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused advice.
- Support business development activities, including networking, marketing initiatives, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across teams and offices to ensure efficient delivery of client work.
- Contribute to improving processes, ways of working, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with the development and mentoring of trainees and junior team members.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Support a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with the firm’s values.
All about you
- Qualification as a UK Trade Mark Attorney, with ideally 3-4 years PQE.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and client-focused mindset.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development.
- A collaborative approach with a willingness to support colleagues and share knowledge.
