About the role

The firm is recruiting a Travel Litigation Solicitor for its Manchester-based International Serious Injury team, handling high-value, complex cases involving accidents abroad, employers’ liability overseas, and other cross-border injury claims. The successful candidate will:

  • Take instructions from clients and provide clear, practical legal advice
  • Manage and progress a varied, high-value caseload
  • Support on group actions and multi-claimant cases
  • Attend Court hearings, client meetings, and conferences, with some travel involved
  • Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues to develop your expertise

The role operates on a hybrid basis, requiring a minimum of two days in the Manchester office, with flexibility on the second day to work from another office where appropriate.

The ideal candidate

The organisation seeks a dedicated legal professional with:

  • Approximately 2–6 years’ PQE, though this is flexible for the right candidate
  • Experience in Serious Injury work or multi-track claims valued at £100k+
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border and travel litigation (desirable but not essential, as training is provided)
  • Compassionate and proactive approach, with excellent client care skills
  • Strong organisational and commercial awareness
  • Experience managing complex, high-value claims confidently
