About the role
- Position: Wills & Probate Solicitor (Permanent)

This role involves assisting with high-value cases, managing new enquiries, drafting Wills, estate planning, setting up Trusts, and handling probate and estate administration. You will support clients through challenging circumstances, providing empathetic guidance and ensuring timely, accurate legal advice. The position offers exposure to both straightforward and complex matters, including contentious probate cases, within a collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience in a Wills and Probate department
- Strong understanding of estate administration, trusts, and inheritance tax planning
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients
- Proven capability to work to deadlines and manage cases independently
- IT proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
