Meet our West Midlands Division

5 Minutes

(Left to Right - Mollie, Aimee, Amy & Rachel)

Our West Midlands team specialises in all levels of legal recruitment from Paralegals to Solicitors and legal executives up to partner-level.

The West Midlands, although more commonly known for its manufacturing industry is fast becoming a legal hub for a comprehensive offering of law firms from the likes of international, legal 500 firms in Birmingham, to regional, niche and high street firms in the likes of Coventry, Worcester and the Black Country.

The region is known for its robust, traditional practise’s offering long standing roots, however, over the years there have been more boutique and specialist practices. This has resulted in a strong legal market with plenty of unique opportunities on offer.

Meet the team who can help you…

Aimee Kelly:

What is your role?
I am a Senior Manager in the West Midlands team and have been working at Sacco Mann since 2013. I recruit for Private Practices across the West Midlands at all levels from Paralegals, Solicitors to Partners. I assist a varied range of clients with their recruitment from larger, international firms through to boutique and high street practices. I have developed strong, long term relationships with both my clients and candidates and ensure that I am continually able to deliver a successful and professional outcome for everyone involved.

If you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I genuinely don’t think that I could pick one song to listen to forever as I feel I’d then end up hating that song and that would be a sad situation to be in!

Rachel Hughes:

What is your role?
I am a Consultant within the West Midlands team and recruit across the Gloucestershire region alongside this. I keep up to date with both my clients and candidates on a regular basis to ensure they are confident and comfortable with the service I provide.

If you could live in any city, where would it be and why?
Out of all the cities I’ve visited I would have to say Krakow has stolen my heart. It’s such a traditional and magical city, and not forgetting the amazingly cheap food….and vodka.

Amy Haycocks:

What is your role?
I’m an Executive Consultant within our Private Practice team and focus recruiting for Paralegal level up to Partner across the West Midlands although my client base is geared more towards the City Centre and Black Country. I’ve been with Sacco Mann since the beginning of 2015 so I’m fortunate to have built close client relationships over the years and I have a real understanding of my market. I believe we all spend too much time in work to be in a role that you don’t enjoy so I really care about taking the time to understand motivations and longer term career aspirations to ensure I’m assisting candidates in finding the right role.

What is your favourite childhood memory?
I swam to a competitive level from a very early age so anything in the swimming pool is a fond memory of my childhood however, the specific memory that came to mind was a gala I went to in Manchester just me and my dad, it wasn’t any of my best events so we had no expectations of the day and I ended up qualifying for the national championships in something I hadn’t been training for. It was a lovely moment and made me realise how not putting too much pressure on yourself can sometimes make a real difference to your outcome.

Mollie Burgess:

What is your role?
I’m Mollie and I work within the West Midlands division in our Manchester office. Day to day I support the Consultants through the entire recruitment process from writing adverts for our exciting opportunities to liaising with candidates, ensuring that we understand exactly what they’re looking for in a new role.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love to eat so I take this question very seriously. I’m going to go for a full three course meal starting with Burrata – always! Then moving on to a big bowl of pasta, most likely arrabbiata with extra chillies and then finally a KitKat. I know its rogue, but you just can’t go wrong.
